Galletti - Sibarita Cocoa Pulp - 100% Cocoa

Here’s something interesting. Yes, it’s 100% chocolate… but it’s not what you’d think! It’s 100% cacao, but Galletti uses cacao pulp to sweeten its chocolate. It’s still cacao, right?

The experience is quite unique. The pulp adds a touch of sweetness and a tangy flavor, which blend with the astringency of pure chocolate. The result: the robust character of the original cacao is preserved, but from an original angle that remains pleasant. A successful twist.

A quick etymological note: the name “Sibarita” that Galletti gave this bar is a Spanish adjective meaning “gourmet” and “bon vivant.” It derives from the Greek city of Sybaris, which, with a population of 300,000, ruled a small empire in Calabria in 700 BCE, and whose inhabitants were known for their idleness and love of luxury. They are even said to have invented the concept of intellectual property, applied to their top priority: a chef who invented a recipe had exclusive rights to it for a year! In short, it’s a well-chosen name for a 100% chocolate bar that’s as delicious as it is original!
