One of the most bitter of the Republica del Cacao collection. As someone who is not a coffee fan, I really like how the chocolate taste surrounds the coffee bits.
Despite the beautiful turtle on the cover, this is not my favorite. It’s all about taste! I still highly recommend it to coffee lovers - you can still feel the finesse and uniqueness of this chocolate bar!

On the already known side, it is the Provincia Manabi - 75% Fine Cacao. On the new side, it’s the Single Origin Ecuador 75% Dark Chocolate, a chocolate that doesn’t come from a particular province, and probably the one used when combined with flavors like Quinoa, Red Pepper or Lemon Grass (see below).
The rules of the game: two pieces per chocolate. We start with one at random, and alternate. In the end, there is no winner, except the taster!
I have always loved milk chocolate. As a child, and even as an adult before I knew about cocoa arriba, I did not like dark chocolate. But for the last few years, I’ve had more trouble: I can’t find the subtlety of the cocoa in it, which seems to be hidden by the sweetness of the milk.
This chocolate from Republica del Cacao is a very good milk chocolate: soft, smooth and comforting. But it does not particularly stand out from other good milk chocolates.
This one is a white chocolate special! A little treat that allows us to enjoy a gourmet pleasure without feeling guilty. Indeed, even if it is “only” white chocolate, it has a delicate flavor and the cocoa beans, adding crunch and a little body, give it the legitimacy to be part of the Republica Del Cacao collection.
