Marou - Bà Ria - Saigon - 70%
Marou is a Vietnamese fine chocolate brand with shops in several tourist spots. This bar was bought in Hanoi. Because they’re rather expensive, I had to be reasonable and choose only one of the six single-origin dark chocolate bars from different Vietnamese regions. Bà Ria is located southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, on the South China Sea coast.
Alluvia - Dark Chocolate 70%
After Thailand and Cambodia, it’s Vietnam’s turn. Found in a high-end souvenir shop on Dong Khoi street in Ho Chi Minh City, this bar is part of Alluvia’s collection that includes pure chocolates as well as ones flavored with local influences.
KanVela - C72% Dark Chocolate Klong Loi Origin
When traveling in a tropical country, one should look for chocolate. I happily found this small bar (a bit pricey) in a souvenir shop at Bangkok airport.
